Hi guys, I'm Mike...based in Falkirk, Scotland, but happy to travel pretty much anywhere to shoot your amazing day.

My philosophy is, and always has been, that it's your wedding day, not a photo-shoot. I'm always looking for "those" moments...you know the ones, the ones that you don't usually see but when you look back at them, they sum up your wedding day entirely...real moments...not fake.

Of course, I always still make time for a small selection of family group shots and a relaxed, informal, "anything goes" even, bride & groom shoot...but I'm not into lots of cheesy grinning at the camera!

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

I'm located near Falkirk in Scotland. Extra charges are only applicable if I need to stay near the venue the night before, eg for a location wedding.

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

I've now been in business for 13 years and have shot over 450 weddings.

Describe your "style" of wedding photography.

Candid, documentary but artisitic - no cheesy grinnin at the camera or posing to order!

What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?

Full day coverage from the latter stages of bridal prep through to the first four of five dances. Packages start at £1800 and include over 500 pictures from the day.

Do you have a studio where we can meet in-person?

Yes, I have a home office that I use for meetings. Skype is an option too.

What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?

I have a Diploma In Professional Photography and have a Licentiateship qualification in weddings with the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP).
