Relaxed people who are just being themselves, they make for great pictures. I keep a low profile and often get mistaken for a guest until I start shooting the dreaded groups! I have a background in film and so crowd control comes easily when I need to stick my head above the parapet. Otherwise, I avoid interrupting the flow of the day.
I invest a great deal of energy to keep people happy, both with my soft approach and excellent results.
I provide a comprehensive and flexible service at a competitive rate. I offer Queensberry albums and a range of excellent printing options through my site.
I'm located in Islington and generally waive travel fees around London. Otherwise it's a capped quote. If I'm doing a destination wedding where I have to spend a second overnight stay, I do charge £400 for the additional travel day. This is usually only for overseas weddings or for travel to the other end of the country!
As of 2020, I've shot over 400 weddings since 1998! I started shooting weddings professionally from around 2002.
Reportage, candid, natural, unfiltered emotions. I try to give you a variety of experimental mixed with more conventional frames. I'm full of cheer and perfectly chatty with you and your guests but do my best to melt away into the background.
My weekend wedding rates start at £1800 for 6 hours and then you can top up at £150/hour as needed. Most couples typically book me for around 8-10 hours for a full day wedding from preparations to dancing. 12 hours usually covers until the departure.
Usually I meet in central London for a coffee or something stronger. As a location photographer (primarily weddings and events) I don't run a studio but if you live in Islington and it's convenient, I have a home office. I do have Skype but prefer to meet in person if possible (Plus, I can't hand you a glass of wine via Skype!)
