Niaz Maleknia is an Iranian Documentary, People & Lifestyle Photographer currently based in London. She is interested in documenting the more 'taboo' subjects in society. Her most recent project documented love dolls, this was exhibited both within the UK and internationally. Niaz recently completed her MA at London College of Communication in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography. She teaches on the camera skills unit on the BA Documentary course at LCC University of the Arts London.
Niaz is one of the winners selected by the Duchess of Cambridge for Hold Still. Her winning portrait is part of the National Portrait Gallery collection, which has been exhibited both nationally and internationally.
