Vagelis Giotopoulos was born in 1965 and has worked as a photographer since 1983.
He's an internationally awarded wedding photographer based in Greece. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Focus School of Arts in Athens, Greece.

He is the current co-owner of V&A Giotopoulos Studio Photography, owning one studio in West Greece.
He is the only Fellowship photographer in Greece (FSWPP).
His work is widely recognized worldwide, earning him many awards (2021: 2nd Wedding Photojournalism Cosmos Awards, 2017:Landscape Photographer of the year PWS, 2nd & 3nd Wedding Phototojournalism Photographer PWS, 3rd Wedding Reportage WPV, 1st place Open Landscape IMAGE+TECH, 2016: Architectural Photographer of the Year &Nature Photographer of the Year2015: 2nd Photographer of the World & Wedding Photojournalist of the Year, 2014: Top Gold Awards Photographer of the Year, Portrait-Media and Travel Photographer of the Year, 2014: Wedding Forum Photographer of the Year, 2013 & 2012: Wedding Photographer of the Year - SWPP Forum UK, 2011 & 2010: Fine Art Wedding Photographer - SWPP UK, 2011: Wedding Photographer - PWS Greece, Silver FIAP Medal Slovenia 2009, Second Place IPA Awards 2009, Gold Medal SOWPS 2008, etc.) in various international contests.
