I'm a wedding photographer since 2006 and photographed more than 250 weddings as main photographer.

Michael was an absolutely amazing photographer and we would choose him again in a heartbeat. He was extremely accomodating which was a huge relief when (due to some unforseen and extreme weather) we had to change the date and location of our wedding, as well as adjusting everyone's lodging (his included). Not only was he completely flexible with those changes, but he ended up serving as an impromptu tour guide with some of the extra downtime due to the changes. This really helped highlight how well he knew the country and all of the most beautiful spots and hidden gems that we had no idea Read More about (despite a year of research). I've found myself trying to think of other life events that I could justify hiring him to photograph, because he really is that wonderful to work with.

Neither of us feel particularly comfortable in front of a camera but, looking at the pictures, you wouldn't know it. Because Michael is such an easy person to get along with, it put us both at ease and made the pictures all the better. We have a wonderful experience with Michael. We have a very long-traveling location wish list and he patiently arrange our itinerary. At the day he introduced us many details that made us very comfortable during shooting, and caught every interaction between us that made our photo looked natural but astonishing. The weather was not ideal in Iceland but Michael was very familiar in all the good spots and soon adjusted our location, even a nowhere became a wonderful spot. Michael was such a professional and fantastic photographer. After seeing his Instagram profile we were sure that he was our photographer with his relaxed but magical style. Being a photographer myself I had high expectations but Nesterov managed to exceed them with delivering such amazing photos. Michael is very patient and always dedicated to get the best shot for you. We've spent about 12 hours with him and he showed us beautiful places far from the overcrowded tourist hot spots. He would have even invested more time, if we wouldn't have to get to our hotel at some point. He is very good at staging a shot, but manages to make his images look very natural. We never felt pressured or rushed once when he was photographing our post wedding shoot, neither myself nor my wife. There was not one photo that we said "oh we don't like that one".
