I have many passions but I am driven to document and share the human experience through photography.
Oh and I love to travel! I am addicted to Asia. My first big adventure was across northern India; long story short I was 20 and impulsively decided to go; two weeks later found myself alone in Delhi! I spent two incredible months in Asia have never looked back! Traveling has made me realize that no matter who you are or where you are from, we are all part of this one great human family. It has given me a true sense of awe and wonder for the world around me.
I am based out of Calgary, Alberta. Locations within about an hour of Calgary are performed without additional charge; I am happy to go as far as Banff without a fee. Locations further than my backyard will be the standard fee plus travel & accommodation. Easy peasy and I love to travel :) Please, take me anywhere your heart might be calling!!!
I have been a professional photographer shooting under my brand for seven years, I was also an associate photographer for 5 years. I have shot over 50 weddings as the lead photographer.
Taking photos should be fun and working with me will be fun! :) I am a big goofball and love to laugh! I work hard putting you in the best light and giving positive feedback but at the end of the day, sincere emotion will be the star. My style of shooting is mainly photojournalistic. I will capture the full spectrum of emotion and all the quirky things that happen during the day. Your genuine experience will be my primary focus. I will also be sure to set aside time for truly, epic portraiture with simply guided posing. Capturing your connection to each other forever in breathtaking images creating stunning artwork for your home.
In all of these moments, we will be creating physical memories of this fleeting time in your life. These images serve as emotional connections to your past not only for you but for your children and grandchildren to come.
My typical wedding package is 12 hours of photographic coverage by myself and a second photographer. I always include an engagement shoot free of charge so we can get to know you better and get outside and play!
As an experienced photographer, I have learned everyone is unique and I offer many different luxury services and products to suit your needs. I have a degree in fine art photography from the University of Calgary. I am a member of WPPI, The Calgary Bridal Association, The Wedding Wire, The Professional Photographers of Canada, Canon Profession Services and Fearless Photographers. I recently attended WPPI Conference + Expo in Las Vegas, where I took many classes focusing on photojournalism and The Real Women's Conference in Canmore, Alberta which focused on women in photography finding our voice, communicating our vision and how to best serve our individual clients.
