I am a wedding and documentary lifestyle photographer who launched this second career when I was in my early 50s - I'm now in my later 50s. I was born and raised on a horse ranch - so photographing people who hail from rural roots (farm and ranch weddings) are my natural groove - especially when they include horses. I have often been told I have the ability to connect with anyone of any age - but particularly children. My photos show real moments, real emotion and real connection between people. My skill behind the camera is rivaled only by my skill to build solid relationships with my clients. I like to think of myself as a skilled negotiator with the ability to calm the mother of the bride, soothe a crying child, or tame an unruly groomsmen to get the images that tell the story of my couple's day. I'm not just a photographer, I am a communicator and a relationship manager - I help the story unfold in the most natural and organic way. And then, I document that story in images.
