Kate Pullen

I am passionate about authenticity, genuine relationships, environmental stewardship, sustainable living, animal welfare and children’s rights. I would rather be outside all day if possible, and I would run everywhere I needed to go on foot if I could. I spend most of my time with my kids in the national park where we live. I’m happiest when I’m out running trails for hours. 
 
I am storyteller. Sounds cliche, but it’s true. I value every aspect of stories - the details, supporting characters, main event, climax, conclusion… all the chapters. I believe it’s important to photograph weddings in a way that weaves the beauty of all of those aspects together into one cohesive collection. 
 
I am calm, peaceful, engaging but not disruptive. My clients feel at ease, comfortable, and know that I will photograph the moments that capture the best them - because who they are is beautiful.  
 
My ideal wedding day is one that meets the clients’ dreams - not mine or what the industry tells them it should be like. I love working with clients who think outside of the box, don’t take tradition at face value, and fearlessly live the life they want to live. I think those kind of people are really cool.
