I love photos that are real, and so I spend my time chasing shots that tell the true story of you - the laughter, the tears, the goofy looks, the hands-in-the-air moments, and the details that you've poured your own heart into. All those in-between moments that are the bones of your story, the things that hold it's shape and make it unique.
When you look back over your photos, I want you to be completely blown away. I want you to feel everything you were feeling when they were taken, and to do that, I climb right into your story, with you. It's cosy, it's intimate, and it how we make beautiful, honest and creative images together. I'm often told that having me as a wedding photographer is like having a really organised, really fun extra bridesmaid along for the ride, and I think that's just lovely.
I'm located in Perth, Western Australia and love to travel for destination weddings. Travel fees are dependent on the distance covered to get to your wedding and whether it fits in with my own personal travels.
I've been in business for 7 years, and I've photographed 76 weddings. I keep my bookings to around 10-15 weddings a year so I can give my couples my full energy and attention.
Personal, intimate and full of life. Classic and elegant, but always fun. Emotional and heart-driven. I'm a people person and I'm incredibly drawn to authentic, natural displays of emotion, which is why I love weddings so much.
I have several packages ranging from $2900 to $7750. The most popular package is my mid-range package at $4500, which includes 10 hours coverage and digital images. Lots of my couples choose to add an album to this package, and they range in price from $1100 to $1800, depending on how many pages we design together.
I love to meet my couples at cafes or at their homes if they live locally, and use Skype for meetings regularly when couples aren't close by.
I am a self taught photographer. I was a picture framer for 5 years before becoming a professional photographer and I know that strongly influenced my development. I regularly undertake workshops and online classes, and a listen to a LOT of podcasts to continually develop my knowledge and skills. In addition to being a member of Fearless Photographers, I am also a member of ISPWP (International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers).
