My first job at age 16 was as a photographer at a Sears Portrait Studio in the suburbs of Detroit. I got my first digital camera when I was 17. It was cutting-edge at the time - 8 whole megapixels! I realized I wanted to get away from the standard type of posed shots I saw everyone else taking. I craved more drama, more passion in my frames. Over the years and on my travels, I watched and learned from great photographers, cultivating my own style and falling more in love with the magic of the unique captured image.
We use fine art photography to tell personal stories with a focus on candid emotion and striking visuals.
Skype is our preferred method of meeting with our couples before shoots.
We have photographed weddings in 14 countries on 4 different continents, and our work has been published and awarded internationally. We've had the honor of learning technique from many great photographers, and we are members of the Royal Photographic Society as well as the International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers.
