A wedding day is packed full of emotion and the moments you spent the last year planning fly by quickly. With over 10 years of experience as a photojournalist, I specialize telling your story by finding those special moments that make your day unique. Nothing gets me more excited than seeing raw emotion pouring out of the photos I make. My mission is to tell visual stories for my clients with high caliber, documentary-style photography and to create meaningful artwork with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

I am based in North Carolina and am also available for weddings in New England

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

I've been a professional photographer for over 15 years and have photographed 100+ weddings since 2008

Describe your "style" of wedding photography.

I'm what many would call a wedding photojournalist. I've spent over 12 years in the newspaper business covering various types of events and bring my eye for capturing moments to my wedding photography. I strive to tell the full story of your wedding day.

What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?

All my wedding collections include full day coverage of your wedding. My most popular collection includes a second photographer, an engagement session and a storybook wedding album.

Do you have a studio where we can meet in-person?

I am an on-location photographer, so I typically like to meet clients somewhere comfortable like a coffee shop. I do have Skype.

What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?

I have degrees in journalism and photography from Appalachian State University in North Carolina. I'm an award winning member of the Wedding Photojournalism Association, the North Carolina Press Photographers Association and the North Caroline Press Association, which has twice named me NC Photographer of the Year.
