I don't believe that our lives are made of perfectly posed, impeccably framed and always crisp and sharp moments, so I capture the personalities in and the dramatics of the moment through an adventurous, raw and thoughtful approach. At the same end of the day I hope that you love all of the photos, but what I aim for is that you can not do with a handful of them as you move forward in your lives together. 4-5 photographs that ground you in who you are, where it all started and why you did any of this in the first place.

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

I am based out of Asheville, North Carolina. For weddings more than two hours from Asheville I charge a $500 travel fee + the cost of two nights in a hotel. For weddings requiring a flight, I charge $1000 travel fee + the cost of three nights in a hotel for US weddings and four nights in a hotel for international weddings.

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

I have been in business now for just over 12 years and have shot just over 150 weddings.

Describe your "style" of wedding photography.

My style is adventurous, raw and thoughtful.

What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?

Pricing begins at 6000 and includes up to 8 hours of wedding day coverage. Contact me to schedule a call to talk more about additional collections and options to better suit your day.

Do you have a studio where we can meet in-person?

I am happy to arrange a phone call or Zoom to get to know my couples and answer all questions.

What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?

I am part of Wedding and Portrait Photographers International, Fearless Photographers, and International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers. As for workshops and education, every year I dedicate time to study photography, take online courses through groups such as Magnum, and am always on the hunt for a depth finding in person workshop. Every year I strive to be better than the last, not just in the end product that my customer sees but also in the the approach and connection I build with my couples - because that is where the magic begins.

Is there anything else you'd like to share about yourself?

In the end, I am aiming not for you to love every single photo we make on your wedding day. I know that's not a possibility. What drives me is that maybe in 5, 10, 15 years, there is one photo that you can't do without. One that reminds you why you ever did this crazy thing called marriage in the first place. One that neither you nor I could even guess as we go through your gallery a few weeks after your wedding. If we can accomplish that, then you and I did exactly what we were supposed to do.
