I grew up in Kolkata as a single son of my parents. I remember from my school days I was fascinated by colors. Never much interested in bookish education, it kept on reflecting in my grades. With the growing pressure of the higher classes gradually my love for photography got subdued. After my MBA, I tried to prove my creative self but somehow get into the usual staff of getting into a 9 to 5 job. I was doing well in the IT industry as a living but there was always a thirst for something that I never understood then. At 27 with small savings was able to buy my first DSLR camera. And a new journey started. Its more than 11 years, I am cherishing my new life as a photographer. I love to paint the world with my colors.

I am still living in this old city (Kolkata) with my two dearest friends - My wife and my daughter. It's a blessing for me and I believe their influence makes me a better person than before.

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

I am located in Kolkata, India. Yes I do charge travel fees on actual.

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

I am doing this business for last 7+ years and photographed close to hundred weddings.

Describe your "style" of wedding photography.

I am a storyteller. I always try to capture moments without directing and intervening. I aim to record and present an authentic story of your day, allowing you to cherish the candid moments as they happen. This helps me to capture different magic moments of your day revealing the true essence and characters of yourselves, your friends, families, and guests. When the time is right, I might direct you to get the picture more engaging and powerful. I intend to provide you pictures that are bold and beautiful and most importantly 'Real'.

What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?

We generally include ceremony, bride and groom preparation, reception, dance, party – the entire experience. We provide a complete and comprehensive coverage of the entire wedding. Locations, coverage time, number of images taken, etc are not a barrier – rather we only concentrate on how to tell the story on your most memorable day.

Our pricing for wedding coverage (Still Photos) starts at Rs 45000/- Per day basis. However, as Indian weddings are diverse, and can continue for more than 2 days we often need to customize the package as and when requires.

Do you have a studio where we can meet in-person?

Yes I have. I also prefer a skype meeting to get along with each other.

What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?

I am a MBA - Worked for different MNC's prior to work as a wedding and documentary photogrpaher. I have mentored by Errica & Lanny Mann, Sephi Bergerson, Brian Calaway, Jen Huan and others. I had several opportunities to work some of them very closely.
