Hi, I'm Katie! I'm a documentary wedding photographer and the owner of Brave Hearts Photography, with over 11 years of experience in the industry. I live in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, with my husband, son, and two rescue dogs. When I'm not behind the camera, I enjoy skiing, cheering on my alma mater, Providence College, and volunteering for gardening-related charities.

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

I am located in East Greenwich, RI, Wellfleet, MA, and travel all over New England. A travel fee is applicable only if an overnight stay is required.

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

I have been in business for 11 years and have photographed over 150 weddings.

Describe your "style" of wedding photography.

I’m a documentary photographer who specializes in capturing genuine, unscripted moments, big and small. I don’t stage or direct anything, except for portraits, allowing you to fully enjoy your day. Instead of stiffly posed wedding portraits, I direct natural interactions with prompts. It’s a fast-paced approach, ensuring we get back to the celebration without missing out on beautiful photos.

What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?

My wedding packages start at $5200 and a typical client spends around $6500. A typical package has 2 photographers, 8 hours of coverage, an engagement session, an album, and digital image files.

Yes, please come and meet me in my home studio in East Greenwich, RI.
