'Passionate' is a word that often comes up when people describe me as an artist. I commit myself 100% into my arts and wedding photography requires just that.

Using a broad set of photographic disciplines I offer the skills that ensure all of the treasured moments of your day are artistically journaled. I had a career as a music photographer and a landscape photographer first. These two styles of shooting are essential in my style as a wedding photographer. When photographers lay out a shot we perfect the background first, I just did that for about 10 years! Challenging lighting? I was the primary photographer for an outdoor, all-day and into the night, music festival for 7 years.

My experience, skills and equipment allow me to not only capture you, your family and guests beautifully, but also the gorgeous landscapes behind you, the intuition to freeze the emotional moments, and the ability to jump into the party at night and capture the fun.

I bring my 100% to shooting weddings. I know I am making art of a day that will live in you and your family's memories through these photos for a lifetime and beyond.

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

I live in Boulder, Colorado but shoot in Northern California as well (my family lives in Sonoma County). I don't charge a fee for locations within a 2-hour drive, but will sometimes request a hotel room before or after the wedding depending on the timing of the day.

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

I shot my first wedding in 2012 and have shot around 100 weddings.

Describe your "style" of wedding photography.

Magical, romantic, colorful and unique

What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?

My packages range from $2,500 to $5,000. My prices are low for what I bring to the table, but I like bargains, so I believe my clients do as well.

Do you have a studio where we can meet in-person?

I don't have a studio, but happy to meet somewhere or meet virtually.

What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?

I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Studio Photography from Syracuse University's, S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. I am also a teacher of Photoshop, Lightroom and run monthly Photo Critiques. My professional memberships are; PPA (Professional Photographers of America), NPS (Nikon Professional Services), WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International), SLR Lounge, KelbyOne & Fearless Photographers. My photography education has never paused. I am always reading books, attending workshops and conferences, studying online and entering contests to further my capacities as a photographer.
