We are based in Salt Lake City, Utah -- but my husband and I are both originally from Michigan. We frequently travel all over the country for elopements and weddings, and are also able to do international destinations fully insured and with active passports. We don't charge travel fees for any location. Wherever you dream of having your wedding, we are ready to go!
I have been in the photography business for almost 10 years, photographing high-end events, fashion, and portraits in the beginning, and over the course of that decade transitioned over to my true passions which are elopements and weddings. I have been exclusively shooting elopements and weddings for three years now, and am looking forward to meeting and serving more amazing couples in my fourth year.
I take a more candid/lifestyle approach to photography. What that means for my couples is you can expect some action-based direction and a little bit of instruction so that your images have a very natural feel but you aren't standing there wondering what to do with your hands. My editing style tends to have bolder colors, and a more "moody" feel to the images. I love warm skin tones and beautiful golden light, but can also rock the dark and cloudy days we frequently had in the midwest. If you are looking for more natural images with a slightly darker artistic vibe then I'm your girl!
Our starting price for elopements and weddings is $4000, with the average couple spending $5,500-$7000.
Our typical elopement or wedding coverage includes 8 hours of coverage with photography and videography, a highlight film of your day, and an online gallery of your fully edited photos with personal rights for printing, sharing, and posting.
I love to meet our prospective couples in-person whenever possible. I like to make a little double date out of it at a local coffee shop or brewery so we can relax and get to know each other a little bit! If I'm located too far away or our schedules just don't allow us to meet up we can always set up a video chat instead and it's almost as good as the real thing. Since we work with many couples who are not based in the same area as us, we are pros at getting to know you and work through all our planning assistance over Zoom!
We believe in always learning and improving both our business and photographic skill sets. We are members of Professional Photographers of America, Olivia studied at The College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI, and Bryan holds a communications degree from the University of Michigan. Some industry specific courses and workshops we have recently participated in include The Wedding Photography Masterclass by Devin Robinson, The Elopement Photographers Course by Adventure Instead, and the Love On Earth Workshop in Sedona, AZ + Moab, UT. We are also a Leave No Trace certified business, and Bryan and I both hold Wilderness First Aid certifications.
Choosing the right person to tell your elopement or wedding story is one of the most personal choice you will make. I am not the right fit for everyone. I want you to be so happy with your whole experience, from start to finish, that I want you to find the photographer who is just right for you, even if it's not me. I will even help you find them. Because it's about living your truth and making memories to last a lifetime.
