I've been doing this for a while. And after so many years of photographing weddings my values have changed. I learned, out of my own experience and out of that of couples I photographed, that nothing matters more than having family & friends in your life. That focusing on material possessions means having less to give towards experiences. That trapped in a house during a pandemic reminds you how you should have appreciated hugs more. That what really matters most in life are people. And the time we get to share with them.

I believe in honesty, I support authenticity and I strive for meaningfulness. I know memories can lose their edges quickly. And I know that memories are the only things we're left with.

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

I am located in The Hague and I travel for weddings all over the Netherlands. I also travel for photo projects and I am available all over the World.

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

I have been a photographer my whole professional life and I have been focusing on wedding photography from the beginning of my career, 13 years ago. I have photographed more than 300 weddings until now.

Describe your "style" of wedding photography.

I believe that a wedding is about two people who love each other and all the people who love them, so in my opinion the true value of wedding photography stands in capturing meaningful moments and true emotion, so my style is mostly focused on storytelling and documentary. I also think there is a place in your album for camera aware images so I also want to give you some heartfelt couples portraits and family group images. Ultimately my goal is for you to have natural, intimate, relaxed and authentic images that will talk about who you really are.

Do you have a studio where we can meet in-person?

I usually hold meetings online, via skype, whatsapp, facetime or zoom. You are welcome at my home if you want to meet in person, look through albums and chat over a coffee.
