I'm an Israeli-born photographer currently based in Austin and New York but shooting all over. I studied photography in both Israel and New York, and received my degree in photography from the School of Visual Arts in 2004. Since then, my fine art photography has been exhibited nationally and published internationally.
While wedding photography is my specialty, I have done all kinds of editorial and commercial assignments, from cookbooks to fashion to news photography. For nearly a decade I held various faculty positions in photography programs, with courses covering studio lighting, location lighting, advanced photography technique, portraiture, documentary, and yes - wedding photography.

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?
I am based in Austin and NYC. Travel fees do apply outside of those locations.
How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?
I have been doing professional work since 2003 and weddings since 2008. I photograph 40-50 wedding every year so that's... a lot of weddings.
Describe your "style" of wedding photography.
Competent and sure-handed, with a focus on unique, unscripted moments.
What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?
My pricing is completely a-la-carte, so there is no real "typical" package; most couples spend about 4-5K.
Do you have a studio where we can meet in-person?
We can meet at my home or at a mutually convenient location. I can be reached on Skype as sivanphoto.
What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?
I Have a BFA from the School of Visual Arts in NY, and studied at Camera Obscura in Israel. I was also a full-time photography instructor for seven years post-college.
