I'm Taber - a mother to 6 wonderful children, a professional chaos coordinator, a wife to an incredible (and wildly hilarious) man, and an award-winning photographer. Outside of being known for my big family and all the daily chaos that comes from having 5 boys and 1 girl, I'm also known for my dynamic blend of documentary and editorial photography. With a passion for freezing moments in time that stems from my personal life, I aim to capture the essence of every individual illuminated by my fun-loving and easy-going attitude. Embracing the beauty of diversity, my lens is a welcoming space for all, celebrating the rich tapestry of love and life in all it’s forms. As an inclusive artist, I am dedicated to capturing and highlighting the unique stories of every person, fostering an environment of acceptance and warmth in my work. Over the last 17 years, I've dedicated myself to this wonderful and artistic world and have attended many workshops, classes and conferences in order to perfect my craft. I love every aspect of what I do, and I always aim to showcase that joy and passion within my photographs.
Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?
I'm located in Wisconsin, but I'll travel anywhere to follow my passion. I don't charge a travel fee for all of Wisconsin and northern Illinois. All other areas will include travel fees depending on how far away your wedding is.
How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?
I've been in business since 2011, and prior to that I started as a wedding photography assistant in 2006. If I had to put a number on how many weddings, it's definitely in the hundreds.
Describe your "style" of wedding photography.
Editing-wise, I like to stay somewhat true to life with a boost in color. Shooting-wise, I love all aspects of photography and incorporate many of them with each wedding I shoot. Lots of photojournalism, posed photos, planned fine art, prompts to bring out all the personality, flash, as well as various little tricks I've learned over the years!

Do you have a studio where we can meet in-person?
I have an in-home office, but I also love meeting with my clients over coffee. If neither of those work, Skype or Zoom are great for meeting too!
What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?
I make it a point to invest in photography education at least once a year.
