I'm Nicola Hudson, photographer and founder of Adôrlee - an award winning luxury wedding photographer capturing weddings across London, the UK and internationally. With an editorial and cinematic approach, my portfolio evokes a sense of nostalgia and beauty and has attracted a sophisticated clientele within the creative, entertainment and fashion industry having my photos published in Hello, Brides and OK magazine to name a few. I am a recommended wedding photographer by many luxury venues and wedding planners including The Langham London, Firle Place, Goodwood House, Old Marylebone Town Hall, Farbridge, Emma Murray-Jones and many more. I absolutely love what I do, it's the most rewarding job and I feel incredibly lucky to have so many wonderful couples as my clients and many now as friends.
Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?
I'm located in Chichester, West Sussex on the beautiful South coast of England. I travel across the UK for weddings and mostly work in London. For weddings overseas travel expenses shall be paid by the client.
How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?
I have been photographing weddings for over 15 years and have now photographed over 500 weddings, giving me a wealth of experience and... I still love every minute of them!
Describe your "style" of wedding photography.
I take a photojournalistic yet cinematic approach to weddings, I'm obsessed with light, whether it's being flooded by luminous light outdoors or pockets of light shining in through a window. My work has an intentionally strong editorial feel allowing you to visually enjoy the images while still being immersed in the moment.
What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?
I offer short coverage for micro weddings from £1200 for 2 hours, full day coverage from £3250 and a half day collection for popular city weddings starting £2000.
Do you have a studio where we can meet in-person?
Most of my couples are not local and welcome a chat over a zoom call.
What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?
I am trained to degree level in Photography & Journalism.
I have also been mentoring and teaching photography workshops for the past 10 years. I am a member of WPJA and Fearless, have had my work featured in many Bridal magazines, won many awards in photography and business.
