My photography is about what's real. No directing, no chasing the "perfect" picture. I work in the moment, with an eye for the smallest details. A glance, hands holding on to each other, silence, tension, relief, love. Everything that will take you back later to how it truly felt.
Over the years my vision has become crystal clear: photography isn't only beautiful, it can carry meaning. Especially in moments you can never relive. That's why I photograph farewells and funerals throughout the year, because I see how much these images can support grief and healing. In the middle of it all, there's often no space to think about photographs. And that is exactly why it matters that someone preserves it for you. So you can look back later, in your own time. Not only with the rawness of loss, but also with love.
My style is warm, honest, and documentary. I move with what happens, respectfully and quietly in the background. With an open heart, and a sharp eye for what will matter later.
