My name is Misha Wong. I'm photographer based in Tampa Bay FL. I was born in Camagüey, Cuba, a culturally-rich city in which the crowing of colorful roosters serve as alarm clocks, the gallop of horses are more common than the hum of an engine, where the musical cries of mobile street vendors are heard on every street and into every home, and where the sound of shuffling domino tiles on card tables start at sunrise. My blood is a mix of color, country and culture and my photos are its reflection: unique, thought-provoking, edgy, and constantly evolving.
Worshiping sunlight in all its glory, I find inspiration in nature and in the legendary photographers who pioneered the art form. In the iconic golden hour on the Gulf Coast of Florida, I seek to capture the interplay of colors and dimensions while creating magical experiences that reflect the joy of life's peak moments. Whether looking over the horizon or into the trusting eyes of a child, I hope to make memories in the process of finding images that channel their way through universal consciousness, across the imagination and into the heart.
