Let's be honest a minute. I don't always love the seeing myself in photos. No makeup, and hair is pulled up, mommy tummy, wrinkles these days, grey too, like I see all the stuff.
Let me also say that MY KIDS WONT REMEMBER THIS about me. They'll see this for us together. They'll have an image to hold that'll show their momma. The way they remember me. AND that trumps everything else.
Knowing if something unexpectedly happened to me I WANT each of my kids to have an image of us together. That's my voice. It's why I pick up the camera. It's my inner most calling to have a last image hoping it'll never be the last one.
