Hi! I'm Tristan, a documentary photographer living on the west coast of Canada with my small and wild family. Professionally trained and photographing humans for over 13 years has left me far from being bored and jaded. In fact it has fuelled an ever deeper curiosity about the human experience and the nuances in daily life that can reflect something unique about you and your family. It's not always pretty but it's most definitely valuable and I want to photograph that for you.
Now for the boring stuff. I'm co-founder and owner of the Documentary Family Awards, my wife and I work as a team on weddings at Jenna & Tristan Photographers, I'm co-founder of the Six Fee Apart project focused on the pandemic experiences of creatives, and I occasionally manage workshops focused on documentary family photography.
