Perspectives #3
In this innovative exercise, some of the top wedding photographers in the world were asked to critique the same wedding photos independently on their own without knowing what the others think. Would they agree? How different or similar would their critiques be?

Personally, I don't think that you needed to add that trick of shooting through this metal tube. But you did. And it looks cool. It's framing the couple. That's awesome. The couple is not positioned in the best spot for this location because there are some trees and some stuff sticking out over their heads in the background. I would love for them to have this mountain in the background. If you crouch down a little bit while shooting, you will lift their heads higher up in the background and you could hopefully block this tree behind the woman's head with her head.
Since this is like almost a silhouette, they are very dark against this bright background. I would be very careful with her hair on her right side of her face and be really conscious about that while shooting. If you see her hair falling down, ask her to put it behind her ear or flick it back so that it's not obstructing her face from the background because now you can see his silhouette perfectly. If her hair was pulled back, we see the silhouette of her nose and lips and chin as well. And that's crucial for kind of shot like this. And also when doing this penguin pose, I often try to introduce like an inch or half an inch gap between their foreheads so that their foreheads are not merged. Leave a tiny bit of space and separation. Overall awesome shots and cool location. Great photo.

Whenever I see a picture with the ring of fire technique, it has to be a really good photo because it's been overdone in the past couple of years. Just like a silhouette photo have to be really good and different to have some impact because it's been overdone. Because it's been used so much, it doesn't have the impact like a couple of years ago.
What would I do here? I don't need all this information here on the left and on the top. I'll start by cropping until the couple is in the middle and the ring of fire is in the middle. Now it has more impact and we lost that unnecessary information on the left and on the top.
Apart from that, the position of the couple, the pose of the couple has to be a lot more interesting than this because, um, we will need some action here. Maybe if the photographer told them to have a little fun, dance for a bit, or just move around for a bit or walk or whatever. It needs just a little movement because this kind of position is what we use when we don't know what to do. So we put them in this basic position and it makes it boring.
I would apply a bit more contrast to the photo as well. That's about it.
