I love photographing people. There's nothing better for me than capturing real life emotion and interaction between people. Weddings are amazing celebrations and have the best moments and this is why I do what I do. I adore my job as a documentary wedding photographer. I photograph across Kent and the South East of England and occasionally I travel further afield for UK and destination weddings. When I'm not photographing I'm enjoying time with my Wife Kirsty and young children Caleb and Rose. I love music too and play the guitar and piano.

Hello, my name is Richard Skins and I'm a UK wedding photographer based in Bournemouth covering weddings throughout the UK and Europe. If I turn the clock back ten years, this is something I never thought I would be doing, but I'm glad life has taken me in this direction as I believe it's the best job in the world, well for me anyway. I feel fortunate to have a career which allows me to pursue my love of photography, and use it to capture one of the happiest days two people can share!

I approach weddings with the aim of recording what's in front of me: no constant set-up shots or interventions by the photographer. My photography is a reflection of your day not an imposition upon it.

My background is national newspapers and magazines. I worked as a press photographer at The Times, who I joined immediately after completing my Postgraduate studies in Photojournalism at the London College of Communication (then the LCP). I learned the hard way - on that job, there are no second chances, no opportunities to recreate the news events unfolding in front of you, to get the right images for edition.

Amanda Jane Dalby is an award winning documentary photographer with over six years experience photographing weddings, families and businesses in Redhill, Reigate, Surrey, London and surrounding counties.

As a documentary photographer, Amanda is skilled at finding genuine moments to photograph without artificial staging or posing. This results in artful, one of a kind imagery to last for generations to come. Amanda is also well known for her use of light to frame and illuminate her subjects and their unique story, bringing the best to each and every frame and series of images.

I truly love everything about weddings, the emotion, the buzz in the air, the intricate details, the smiles, love and the laughter. Being able to capture these special moments for 2 people celebrating the best day of their life with the people they love is a true honour and a privilege!

My style is a fusion of traditional portraits and reportage, I find this creates a perfect approach to capturing the day so couples get the best of both worlds - real unique moments just as they happen together with epic photos of the two of you, wedding photos that stand out from the crowd that will hang proudly on your wall at home.

With a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, I have a real passion for storytelling and capturing real moments and emotions. I specialise in unposed, documentary-style photographs which tell the story of your day (only around 5% of my photographs tend to be those standard, formal shots that some request). I am there to capture the finite moments, as they happen - those moments which make up the monumentous occasion that is your wedding day. Emotion and natural reactions are evident in my photography and those are the examples that I will seek out whilst shooting.
