For me, photography is a way to expose life at its best. My spontaneity of expression and my professional, yet friendly nature allow me to capture the most natural once-in-a-lifetime moments through my lenses. Throughout the wedding day, I am watching the emotions and expressions of the couple as they interact with guests and family members. My job is to freeze those precious moments and make them as beautiful as the couple remember it in their hearts. My unmatched thirst for exploration, paired with unrelenting energy, creative ability, a professional attitude and dedication to the art of photography is what allows me to photograph lifestyle assignments such as weddings.

Hi, I'm Alex, a wedding photographer living in Arlington, VA with my beautiful wife and our silly lab-shepherd mix Mara. We are So Tender Is Humanity - wedding photography for the creative soul and the kind spirit.

Together with my wife Brittany, we are Bee Two Sweet, based out of the Washington, DC area, but happy to travel everywhere for love. We know that planning for your future together during a global pandemic is stressful, presenting many unanticipated challenges. We are here for you and ready to help you re-imagine your day by by providing assistance with planning and design of smaller scale ceremonies, streaming your wedding to friends and family, video recording of your ceremony,
and, of course, excellent photography.

We are Anji and Pete Martin. Worldwide wedding photographers based in Washington, D.C, and Northern Germany. We travel from the countryside of Virginia to the urban venues of the Capital, from the castles of Bavaria to the ballrooms of Berlin, and we're ready to document your love story, no matter where your life should take you.

My ultimate goal for your wedding is to follow your flow and your vibe and simply capture all the beautiful little moments (like when your partner reads the letter you wrote them or when the flower girl runs back up the aisle to pick up all the petals she just tossed) along with all the unforgettable big ones (your first look, your first kiss, and your first dance--lots of firsts!!). However, there are times when I'll offer a little creative direction. I love using that unique ray of light or window reflection to bring a WOW feel to an image. I also want to take advantage of the special location you have chosen and create some stunning portraits that really reflect everything this day means to you.

I love shooting weddings because that is how I literally got our start. I'm Pete Martin, a traveling wedding photographer. I often work on weddings with my German-born wife Anji, and together we make sure that we get every loving glance, every secret smile and every tender caress that you share on your wedding day.

Home right now is the Washington, DC metro area, but I have lived in the Nordic countries, South America and Asia in the past decade. So obviously I don't mind traveling to whatever corner of the globe you choose for your wedding!

We offer a great balance between photojournalism/candid, editorial and fine-art photography with a touch of fashion and creative lighting. Our photographs are inspired by light, color (and the lack of), techniques from black & white processing, creative perspective, and of course, most importantly, the personalities of the people we photograph! We strive to create timeless, storytelling photographs that will help you and your family capture the most important moments of your life that will stay with you eternally.

We are married photographers who fell in love holding cameras in our hands and haven't put them down since. We think that photographing love is the best job in the world.

Doing this work with my best friend is amazing. We complement each other, we compete, we divide and conquer, we share the experience. I sneak a kiss once in a while. Couldn't imagine it any other way.

Me? I am a perfectionist who is utterly imprefect - I love candy, movies, and staying up late. I feel the most alive when I am traveling, dancing, or making photographs.
