Having been born & raised on the island of Papua New Guinea, with a Canadian father & American mother. I've been very privileged to have met and seen a huge variety of people and places. As I grew up my passion for capturing people and places grew as well. But was always loved how there is always something different, something unique about everyone and every couple so I've always tried to capture everyone on their happiest day in the most unique way that will be special to them forever.

Storytelling has always been a part of who I am as a person and artist, whether that be through words or photographs. While photography is my work, it's also my life and (as cliche as it might sound), my passion. Telling wedding stories takes a lot more than the ability to pose a couple or push a button. It takes an enormous amount of care and dedication to capturing all of the minute details of the day in a respectful, artful manner. By storytelling through this medium, I am able to capture and preserve the biggest wedding day highlights through the most intimate of glances, tears, giggles, and embraces. My team and I are always searching for the most extraordinary moments and reactions by the couple and their guests, so that they can not only remember it, but feel how they felt on their amazing wedding day.

My passion and my background are rooted in photojournalism. Telling stories with images is what I feel my purpose with a camera is. I approach a wedding day like it was a newspaper assignment, making images that will resonate for years to come in a very real, uncontrolled manner. Your story is important, whether in my hometown or halfway across the globe, I want to tell it so your grand kids can one day know who you really were.

When people ask me what type of photography I do, I always just say "I photograph people". Because it doesn't matter if it's two people getting married, a family playing at the park, a CEO getting a new headshot, or a band playing on a huge stage. Every single person has a story, and I tell that story through the photos I create.

I literally live for meeting new people and hearing about their lives. My absolute favorite thing is when someone tells me they never look good in photos. Challenge accepted. When I hand them their images and they smile or get tears in their eyes, I am reminded over and over that this is what I was born to do.
