Phil's varied style stems from over 10 years of wedding photography as he slips seamlessly between photo journalistic and editorial style photography. From contemporary to traditional. From cheesy to classic. He will work with you to capture any photos that you have in mind. Most of the time though, couples are confident in letting Phil capture and/or direct the day as he sees it and you'll be guaranteed a few laughs throughout the shoot. Just take a look at all those happy people in his portfolio. Go on Give us a goo.
Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?
I'm based in Kildare, Ireland but we travel across the country and internationally too. Please contact for further details.
How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?
I set up Give us a goo photography in 2007 but I've been photographing weddings since I graduated in photography in 2000
Describe your "style" of wedding photography.
It really depends on the client. Sometimes I spend the whole day directing couples who want to look their best on the day. Other times, I'm like one of the guests photographing the moments as they happen. Most of the time it's a mix between reportage and directed photos with family photos in between.
Do you have a studio where we can meet in-person?
We can set up a video call at a time that suits both parties.
What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Photography back in 2000. I worked with a number of photo agencies before setting up Give us a goo photography in 2007. In 2023 I won Wedding Photographer of the Year and Documentary Photographer of the Year with the IPPVA.
Is there anything else you'd like to share about yourself?
