I'm a believer in good, honest story-telling - and a wedding is the perfect format for this to happen. It's the one day that finally arrives which has consumed your energy for so long, yet you still have no real control over. Capturing that wild experience is what I love - natural and unscripted. I work hard to get to know you, I'd like to be someone you can hang out and grab a beer with... becoming more than just a photographer. This enables me to create that important connection where you can enjoy your day and relax knowing your images are in good hands.
Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?
I'm based in Wanaka, New Zealand. Travel included in my packages to Wanaka, Queenstown, Lake Tekapo. Weddings further afield quoted upon request.
How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?
Since 2008, and way too many weddings to count!

What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?
I'm increasingly photographing elopements which kick off with 'The Getaway' from $1830 NZD. For weddings my most popular package is the 'Firecracker'. Coverage from getting ready until the start of the party following the first dance. Cost for this is currently $4590 NZD, and includes individually edited high res images ready for print.
Do you have a studio where we can meet in-person?
I use video call heaps as many couples travel in. If you're in the area, we can catch up for a coffee or a local beer.

I have 4 awesome kids, my wife Lisa helps with editing and admin. In my spare time I enjoy a good beer with friends, off-roading and snowboarding.
