Im located on the island of Bora Bora, and I do charge a travel fee for wedding not in my location. If Im already on the requested island or country, and need to stay an extra day,I won't charge the plane ticket but the night at the hotel...it doesnt have to be a fancy place:)
I started in 2012 as both a photographer and a videographer.I photographed more than 200 weddings, and filmed as much.
My style is photojournaIistic during the ceremonies, but much more classical or artistic for the protraits or staged photos taken around the resorts before and after the ceremony.I keep the tones and colors of the island as much as possible, but im an adept in the medium of black and white and at producing beautifully composed photos.
Most of our honeymooners goes for the traditional polynesian wedding, which last about 45 minutes. My typical wedding coverage package is 2 hours, where I will cover the preparation of the bride and groom, the first look, the ceremony, and photos taken around the resort/property.This package goes for 850 US Dollars.
I don't have a studio, and I use skype or messenger. For couples already on the island,Im more than happy to meet at their resorts to discuss their needs.
I don't have any degrees, and I didn't take any workshops yet,but this is something im really looking forward to.
Im passionate about photography, meeting people from different horizons and backgrounds, and my biggest reward is to create emotions through my photography.I spend my spare time with my love, Caroline, travelling as much as we can or snorkelling in the beautiful lagoon of Bora Bora. With a fellow photographer we also organize charity events by introducing the islanders to photo exhibitions on the main island,or at the school where we share our passion and knowledge with the kids and teachers.
