The Birth of Maya

When Ana came to me to accompany her pregnancy and delivery, she already had the diagnosis that her cervix was too short and that this would imply a relatively greater risk of having a premature baby. She took care of herself with preventive drug treatment, more careful prenatal care and some changes in habits, but without stopping working and doing physical activities, which, as an obstetric physiotherapist, she knew exactly which ones were appropriate for her condition. She who takes care of so many pregnant women was able to provide herself with excellent preparation. 
 
Accompanying her and seeing her always with a smile on her face, with the certainty that her daughter would be born well through a wonderful delivery was inspiring! 
 
Maya was born at 33.4 weeks and super well for her gestational age!
