Elizabeth Golden

Raised in Vicenza, Italy, Elizabeth Golden now makes her home in Jacksonville, FL where she lives with her husband and young son.

Elizabeth began her career as a photographer because she loved the idea of creating art with people. "The meaning of the moments I am invited to be a part of is never lost on me," she says. Accordingly, she is always striving to add to her skills and deliver standout work to her clients.

"I see light everywhere I go and am always looking for the shot." Whether it's the challenge of long-exposure light painting shots or the intrigue of underwater photography, she is eager to try new things and push the limits.

When we asked Elizabeth, "What's amazing about you?" she responded that her husband would say it's her compassion, while she would say it's her work ethic. Likely, it's a little bit of both. An active contributor to Save the Children, Elizabeth says she cannot stand the thought of anyone being hungry. "It's probably the Italian in me," she adds. This reflects the values by which she tries to live her life.

"A good life to me means having the privilege of doing my best for my family, my clients, and my community."

Elizabeth also believes strongly in hard work. "You have to fight back. Life doesn't give you what you want, it gives you what you worked hard for," she says. "You have the power to choose what your future will be when you actively work for it. Your health, your happiness, your family, your sanity, your freedom, your peace are all worth fighting for-so do it."

One of her favorite quotes comes from the end of the poem Invictus, by William Ernest Henley: "It matters not how strait the gate / How charged with punishments the scroll, / I am the master of my fate, / I am the captain of my soul."

Of course, she's not all about work. In addition to cooking and singing karaoke, Elizabeth loves to travel, and says she'd rather buy plane tickets than new clothes. Her own wedding story reflects that spirit of adventure. "My husband and I got married at Mermaids Chair in St. Thomas with two friends as witnesses," she says. "We then went on a night kayaking tour in our wedding clothes. It was raining and we were running late from dinner and didn't have time to change. Thinking of the look on the tour guide's face when he saw us run up the dock still cracks me up."

So what does Elizabeth say makes her a Fearless Photographer? "Being fearless in life to me means getting right back up when we fall down. Being a fearless photographer to me means making art and capturing genuine moments for my couples."

This Mr. and Mrs. truly did not stop smiling all day! Their true focus was always on each other and their guests and they did not sweat the small stuff for one second. Such an adventurous and fun couple!

I love this photo because the mother daughter relationship really shows. There was so much love and friendship between them. I also consider it to be a favorite from 2019 because it's such a reminder that we create our luck by keeping the camera up!

As much as I love moments, sometimes the posed photo can be such a fun win. The wedding venue was a former high school so we decided to create a "Breakfast Club" photo in the auditorium.

This gorgeous girl has been part of the J'adore family since her senior photos from High School! From there, I also documented both of her sisters and her best friends wedding. Over the years, I watched this bride grow into such a beautiful, kind, compassionate, hard working and successful young woman. I could not have been happier for her on her wedding day. It has been such a privilege to document the special moments in this families life.

This bridal shoot was one of my all time favorites. The bride is very special to us as she is also my sons babysitter. She loves him and treats him like a member of her family. I was so excited to travel to a beautiful place and create not only a special image, but a memory she would cherish. This was captured at a park in Lake Como, Italy.
